I joined the Board of Directors for Pastew Place Detox Centre in February 2019. I am currently the Chair of our Board, and I truly enjoy the opportunities to give back to the community I call home. I believe it is important to get involved in building the community we want for everyone.
I am a Red Seal Millwright. I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Development from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia. I am an employee at Suncor and currently manage the Learning and Capability for Fixed plant operators.
Pastew Place Detox Centre provides a safe place for those who are suffering from addiction and are in need of help. The management and staff are truly incredible people who are passionate about the professional support they provide the clients and the programs that are offered daily to assist the clients in their journey to sobriety.
I encourage you to come up and see our facility—it is a hidden gem inside the community we call home, and we want to showcase the amazing work the team provides to those who need it.
