Detox Program

The Detox Program is designed for individuals facing or anticipating withdrawal symptoms. It provides a secure environment for withdrawal from substance use. Our Client Care Aides assess and monitor individuals throughout the detox process. Once individuals are feeling better, have resumed regular meals, and engage in social activities with others, they are encouraged to join the Day Program. Here, they will explore how addiction affects various aspects of their lives and discover the community supports and services available for further assistance.

Break Free

Addiction often entraps individuals in a relentless cycle of pain, crime, and economic hardship. At our centre, we are deeply committed to helping you stop the cycle and embark on a beautiful journey towards recovery. You do not have to face this challenge alone.

We understand that the most challenging step in early recovery or breaking free from addiction is asking for help. Our compassionate staff is here with absolutely no judgment to support you through this process.

Our dedicated team will stand by your side, providing comprehensive support throughout your recovery journey. We offer group education, access to addiction counselors, mental health services, and connections to various community organizations. Additionally, we facilitate referrals to treatment facilities across the province, ensuring you receive the personalized care you need as you take that courageous step towards a brighter future.

Detox

Our detox program offers a safe environment for clients to embark on a journey of healing from substance use challenges. Our devoted Client Care Aides conduct thorough assessments and maintain vigilant monitoring throughout the withdrawal process.

This personalized care ensures a safe environment as individuals manage challenging withdrawal symptoms, regain strength, and gradually reintegrate into social interactions with fellow clients. In the rare event of any medical needs arising during assessments, we are well-prepared to collaborate with paramedics and facilitate hospital transfers. This ensures that our clients receive the best possible care, reinforcing our dedication to your well-being above all else.

Educate

Once individuals have started to feel better, we encourage them to participate in our Day Program, where the focus is on their learning journey.

In this phase, they will engage in educational sessions to deepen their understanding of how addiction impacts different areas of their lives. Additionally, we provide information on the various supports and services available in the community to further their continued learning and recovery.

Next Steps

Once you are better, if you believe that treatment is the right path for you, our client coordinator can assist you with referrals to a treatment program. Subsequently, you will have the opportunity to apply for our pre-treatment program, allowing you to stay within our facility. Here, you will gain a deeper understanding of your addiction and build the essential foundation for treatment centres.

As you transition, we will guide you toward a supportive community where you will connect with individuals facing similar challenges, share your experiences, and receive assistance from our dedicated staff.

Let Us Work Together. Join Us.

The impact of helping people recover from addiction ripples far beyond the individual. When we support addicts in their journey to sobriety, a cascade of positive change occurs. Children regain their parents, mothers and fathers are reunited with their children, and families experience the joy of healthier, more stable lives.

This transformation can play a pivotal role in breaking the generational cycles of addiction, offering hope for a brighter future. Moreover, the social benefits reverberate throughout the community, relieving the strain on health systems and reducing the burden on the justice system. It is a reminder that getting sober does not just transform one life; it impacts dozens of people within the community, fostering healing and resilience for all.
